I've always loved "Pride - A Deeper Love"

I have a David Morales remix with Aretha Franklin on vocals (Double Pack). Love it. Cherish it.

Hey Domodisco, on this 12, is there a flute mix of Club Lonely? I have this on tape and did not find it on any release of club lonely.

[/qb]
AWW damnnnnnn

Then if that's on you copy, is there a mix of CLub Lonely that's really moody and you hear the vocals saying "Lonely People Lonely" throughout the song?[/QB]
There is a mix called the "Alone & Horny Mix" that starts of with just the "Lonely People Lonely" followed by the bassline and the horns - a rather funky mix

Do you mean the triple pack? The triple promo and triple pack have identical mixes; too bad they didn't release all the mixes off the triple of Sounds of Blackness "I Believe" - Morales has 7 mixes out of 17 mixes

Flakes - Sugar Frosted Lover (Magic Disc)

All I know is that Flakes released this promo before they for signed to Salsoul and released it on their Salsoul debut LP.

Can anyone confirm this?

C

Wow I have a sealed copy of this I got for 50 cents. It's a Gold and Black label, right? I think it was a California label, right?

I have Into Battle with the Atr of Noise EP on 45 and 33 rpm along with some picture discs and rare imports. I was a big Trevor Horn fan. Island was on FIRE at that time.

Who owns a black vinyl Yellorange test Pressing?

All the test pressings that come out on Yellorange are usally Yellow. I own a black vinyl test pressing of Kemeisha Holmes "Ups and Downs".

Is that rare?

Peace

To me, YellOrange test presses are rare not only because they are yellow (with the exception of Crystal Clear “Say It” which is actually clear vinyl), but they are actually pressed much louder and sound phatter/fatter (take your pick of the word, both words are apropos of). I have been lucky to get all of their records on yellow test press (quite a Herculean task at times), but I would imagine the ones of monetary value would be:

The original one-sided test press of Una “In My Arms” (actually labeled “Voices of the Vatican featuring Una” – and as slammin as the remixes are, I prefer the unreleased Soul Providers/David Tobon remix

Chance – Rescue Me – the MAW mixes test press are different that what were released (there are horns throughout, one side vocal and the other side instrumental)

The YO Sampler – because 4:20 f/Farid Unique “Let The Past Rest” and Jackie Kemp are on there and have yet to be released

That Des’Ree “Feel So High” is really nice, I have the same Epic EP with that mix

But it isn’t always what you play inasmuch as how you play it – I am a self-admitted vinyl junkie and always prefer a promo copy over a retail copy

Oh, and what is definitely worth getting is the US promo of Cover Girls “Wishing On A Star” there are four Magic Sessions house mixes; the US retail has only one which is an edited version, and the UK vinyl has I think only 2 or 3 of the mixes

Will, my copy of The MAW remixes to "Rescue Me" was a bootleg copy (now you have me wondering if it was an actual promo).

It had "Rescue Me" hand written on the label so that caused me to believe that it was a boot. But my copy does have Horns throughout the song. Vocal on one side, instrumental on the flip.

Peace

Now that is interesting - is this on Japanese vinyl? I know it was on Nervous US, Talkin Loud UK, and (?) Japan

As far as Rescue me; they did bootleg it - but those mixes are not on the YellOrange retail copy, or on the AM:PM UK copy (although they only have one MAW mix)

No Will, that was a Talking Loud TP.
Not many more than 50 copies of that, if that many.

Almost every Atlantic release had different mixes on the promo at one point:

Three Generations -Superlover with dub, accapella etc,

Jellybean - spillin the beans-double pack with crazy Humphries mixes,

TenCity-Where do we go? Whatever Makes u happy-both with crazy mixes.

also:
susan clark-deeper-swing 52/benji c remix-1 sided us ffrr promo.

Robin Stone-Show me love-champion, original george and mcfarlene mixes, 1 year before stonebridge remix.

2x12 promo of Melanie B & Missy "I Want You Back"

and

2x12 German promo of Cultured Pearls "Mother Earth" Todd Terry & Mousse T mixes, and some serious downbeat drama-filled r&b mixes by some German remixer that is really nice

Souffles H - Masters At Work
Black Masses - My Heavenly Stars (MAW Remixes)
MAW Remixes - 10 Percent

Are these rare...

Word, I forgot about that cut too. Man there were only 127 of those slabs that ever hit the street.

There are a few peeps on here who actually have or had [Confused] that though, so it aint that rare here.
