As many of you might have come to realize, Inspiration has grown, evolved and matured as have the people behind it. Our range of music has diversified to a more worldly beat and what better way to represent our evolution than celebrate with Balandugu Kan, a 10 piece Guinean drum and dance ensemble. The highly energetic Balandugu Kan is full of amazing performances, presenting stories and touching songs, through powerful Guinea style Djembe. The group has performed at many places including Ford Amphitheatre, UCLA, Soka University, Temple Bar along with Mamady Keita, and has hosted many master dancers. Resident DJ Jose Marquez will be playing his special blend of Deep/Soulful House, Afro-Latin Rhythms, Samba, Salsa, Latin-Jazz, Afro-Beat and other urban world dance beats.
