People Addictions?
Every Club I go to, theres always a few who just cant help but to light up.
I'm not knocking ones addictions or anything as such, but would it be that hard for them to just get High from the Music itself or is it there Addictions into play?

It's a shame, people smoking weed in clubs... Now that X is finally moving away, the green grass comes back through the big gate...

Are you talking morals or legality?
If morals you need to realize that the clubs make MUCHO dollars on ALCHOHOL..which kills more people than Mary Jane ever has or will. Ciggarettes as well.
From a legal standpoint it does put the venue @ risk.

Not too much of an issue here... I might smell weed at a local event maybe once or twice a year. Doing drugs at a MUSIC event is considered disrespectful in Detroit (not to say it never happens, just that is highly frowned upon). Most people here do their drugs at home...

No, of course not. But, that's never stopped people in the underground from getting their smoke on. I'm not sure why Blue used the word "starting." People have been getting high on weed in underground and "legit" spaces since I can remember (mid 80s).

If the music is tight, everything's alright!
I prefer to smoke wherever I can get away with it-as far as clubs go, if the dancefloor is packed, perfect place for a onehitter! I prefer dancing while high than drunk,
all that shaking+alot of alcohol= not good things.......
So, for me, it has less with being addicted and more with preferring it over alcohol. Smoking while there's some House music Bumping Well is never a necessity- but if I can get away with it, why not.....

I ain't about freedom or anything else...
I really don't give a '...' if people smoke weed...
BUT
From a legal standpoint it does put the venue @ risk.
Think of the people who want to go out on music & wine (better be sparkling) only. Just last month, I paid 30$ to see Andy Caldwell & Lisa Shaw in Antwerp play. And police tore the place up, because people smoked too much weed...
Please, understand my anger that day...
The party was stopped at 1.30AM an continued at 5.45AM
