Nice to know I am not the only one going thru this right now. Yesterday, I had experienced something I can only call a panic attack.

Yes , have been there , more than once.
Change your focus.
Get away from the envirement you are in , that is causing the heavy chest feeling , and headaches.
A Park , Near Lake or Seaside , Open Natural space will help.
It is our Health that is most important , so protect Health , and don't allow problems of the moment to disturb you to the point of pain.
Have Faith in the unseen powers of our creator , who knows every hair on our head.
Troubles , are many times , blessings in disguise !
Once in open space you'll see the answers will come to you ,
don't be afraid !
We are born nude and alone.
Everything thereafter is extra.

Thank you all for your words. I haven't felt this bad is quite a loooooong time. I am really trying to cope, but it just seems so overwhelming at times.

If you just can't get out of the space your in at the moment , atleast open the window , and find a green patch to look at and enjoy.
Also look at the sky.
Look away from what is bringing you down , get clear , listen from within with your inner ears , and then come back and tackle what is bringing you down , just a little at a time.
Remember there are only 24 hours in a day.
You mentioned "bills" being a problem
Most Bills can be worked out with time
Payment plans , etc.
Even if not , answers will come to you.
Just get away from the downer stuff.
Force yourself to look out and up , to the unseen , to discover the answers from above and within !

What was said earlier about changing the focus (and environment) by actions that take the thoughts off oneself. Any number of ways:
-Take a trip.
-Exercise.
-Volunteer-helping others definitely removes the focus off oneself, in positive ways.
-See a movie.
-Call an old friend.
-Have a drink (in moderation) & listen to some HOUSE. ![[alc]](graemlins/alc.gif)
-Find a good book.
-Consider a new interest.
-Join a class.

I don't know your story, but I feel confident in saying that I'm sure that there has never been a situation you've experienced that has not eventually worked out for the best. Think about it, even in the worse situations, something good resulted.

I'm sorry that you are depressed at any time of the year! Please don't discount professional help as a way to help you through this. Therapy doesn't "cure" you (cuz you have to do that yourself), but therapists can give you the tools to help yourself. Plus, there is a lot of value in what I call the "dispassionate third party," who isn't personally biased or invested in your choices.

Thank you for all your replies, PM's, emails and phone calls. I really do appreciate all the words of advice. I am definitely going thru some trials and tribulations right now. This is the lowest I have been in close to 10yrs. I thought today would be a better day, but it isn't.
