Last night was "aight",
I got there mad early around 12 mid and when I got inside there I hear some clubby tracks playing so I thought it was a warm-up DJ doing his thing but to my surprise Frankie was already on the decks! And you ask why I was surprised???
Cause he was playing borderline commercial stuff with very little early 90s house. No disrespect to Frankie and I know he was catering to the commercial heads, I know this, but come on now, he did not have to do go there the whole evening, like Danny said he got deep around the last hours thats when he started to get things cranking which was already into 5 in the morning and I was ZZZZzzzz'd out. So, thats my 2 cents..

Frankie played Bassment Jaxx and a lot of those commercial "house" remixes. He played to his audience, people who came out to get drunk, dance and grind on people they would never go up to in the daytime; but because he is Frankie Knuckles, he inserted deep house for those fans who came out to see him and appreciate the real music he had in his crates smile.gif

But he does. He cater's to his Crowd, his people, and I dont see anything wrong with that .
People Bitch and Complain about what he play's all the time, but the Majority of the Crowd is Enjoying them selves and takeing the strength of the party to a higher level!
So when people say that he isnt playing "Real House music" my Question to them is ....What the hell is Real house music???
Everyone is judging the man on how he make's his money, what he play's, it's like an never ending story!
Sometime's playing "Tracky Music" get the party live more than anything, or maybe could that be what the Majority of the Crowd want's!?!?!?
Has anyone look at it from that point of veiw, or is we still on the "Frankie didnt play Real house music " kick?
Just my 2. cents
