Why not Halloween? Not that anybody has to come in a costume or anything, just a party.

(and it's on a Friday)

Well Friday would eliminate Boo Williams from the line-up as that is The Sabbath.

Hey Rich!!! Brotha, I would be honored to come out and play REAL House music again out there. If a party does come about, and if I am selected as one of the featured D.J's to play, it DEFINITELY would be a great experience, and an honor for me to be a part of.

Rich, contact me at : harrya85@yahoo.com

Harry A! smile.gif

If they(parties) were say every two months and we used 4 jocks graemlins/cussing.gif for each party we could hear a lot of jocks here in the CHI...but hey it's not my call I was just suggesting who I'd want to hear for the next one. I'm looking forward to hearing a lot of the cats mentioned actually. It can only grow each time.

I just had to say, Thank you, for your recomendation. That was very nice of you, and again, I wouldn't mind who I would mix with, just as long as we all have fun, and to enjoy the music that we love, and that has brought us all here in the first place. So, again, I am honored to be apart of the DHP family, and I would love to beat it again in Chicago, like the old times. If G-man & DHP gives their approval, just let me know the date, and I'm there.... smile.gif

Thanks for the mention, but I think (chi)people should vote for the cats they want to hear since they're so many here. I believe that's fair.

The key thing to remember is that whoever doesn't play this round will have a shot at the next one.

Hopefully this thread doesn't turn out like the first one. Some cats who I wanna hear may not get on until the third or fourth party and that's maybe but, I know it's coming.

I wish we were this zealous when it came to providing guest spots to DJs at our own events

Should dj's decide who should play?Should friends play? The point I'm trying to make is,there will be more sets if these are successful.EVERYONE can not play at all events,I have not seen anyone suggest a venue yet.

You need a venue, promotion, footwork to give an event, not just dj's.

"You need a venue, promotion, footwork to give an event, not just dj's."

AMEN!!

Did'nt someone mention a loft space on Cermak Rd. The only problem (if you want to consider it a problem) was that the place was huge. If we get 2500 flyers and dj's/promoters/dancers that are willing to do the "Footwork" we can fill it up.

You need a venue, promotion, footwork to give an event, not just dj's. That is true.
To keep things honest, all the interested DJ's should all meet at a neutral, get a deck of cards and play black jack to determine who plays.

Which-ever 4 out of 40 DJ's don't bust after everyone had played a hand are the 4 who play at the event.

That is pretty fair.
