I need to convert some video footage from my camcorder (vhs) to digital formatt so I can burn it to disc.
How do I do this in easy steps please

Uh oh, sounds difficult! Try windows movie maker - sound like you just need the right software. I'm unsure about connection, but a friend says the parallel port might be an option?

You need an analogue capture card dude - bit of kit. It's what I've been informed, and although they're not devilishly expensive, theyre not cheap!!

There are some Video cards that have an Video input RCA jack on them so you transfer video to your computer.
Also be sure to have plenty of Hard Drive space, sufficient processor speed, and memory because these files can be very large and use alot of power when converting to Mpeg or Avi.
