BURR RIDGE, Ill.---- Three masked robbers broke into the suburban Chicago home of New York Knicks forward Eddy Curry early Saturday, according to police.
The robbery took place a little over two weeks after Miami Heat forward Antoine Walker was robbed at gunpoint at his Chicago town house.
In the incident Saturday, the offenders restrained Curry, his wife and an employee with duct tape as they went through the house looking for valuables, according to Deputy Chief of Police John Madden. <!-- start sidebar -->

Exactly...the CT case is truly scary as all hell.

Antoine Walker was the other player that got robbed, right? I wonder if there's a pattern building out there in Chicago...if Antoine gettin' vicked set others to thinking or if this is connected more directly than the 2 or 3 degrees of separation I'm suggesting. I also tend to wonder what kind of security this last fellow's home had...I always advocate good, well trained schutzhund type dogs as a first line if you got long enough dollars to worry about that sort of thing, but even a family pet kind of dog is useful for alertin' you...
