It's based on paranoia about what is stated in the thread. I have no problem with the concept of my Organs being used. I don't trust the system to have my better interests if I am at the brink. I don't want to be seen as goods when maybe I could be revived. May be selfish, but fug it. I have an interest in living and in my own paranoia about the system, institutional doctors and drivers liscenses it works out all right with my conscious.

no I'm not sure I'm big enough. I'm sure I would want something to save my life if I needed it. Yes I see the hypocracy.

Something about this article is suspicious? It is possible the wording used was mistake, maybe? I doubt any trained physician would inject intravenously Betadine. Betadine is an antispetic topical solution used in preoperative prepping of patients prior to surgery. Is this what the article means? Betadine from my experience is used to clean skin prior to IV insertion. There are some details missed, maybe?

Thanks

Well, It's a BBC article, it may have an error, but its content has to be better than any information coming out of the skewed American big brother media.

what makes the bbc any better than cnn?

damn talk about skewed
the man hasn't even seen a day in court yet
and the details are pretty sketchy
news said the man lived for 7 hours after the doctors saw him
i wonder how long you would live with antiseptic flowing you your veins
i doubt 7 hours

Well.. The way i see it if I treat my body like trash when they put my bits into someone else that someone else will cop it to :) If I'm going I might as well take them with me :D ..

Ey.... can organs be passed onto more than one person? Say you donate n organ and the person u donate it to lives healthily for another say, 10 years... after they die, can that organ you originally donated go into a 3rd person?

AND!! if you had a brain transplant, would u recieve the other persons memories etc? all this stuff fascinates me. :D (sorry if i've veered off topic a bit)
