I dont get it .....They're cool and all. But I dont feel em'...
When I was in Jersey I couldn't get into my " zone " on the Urei....Gimme some slides and I'll be straight ....
Maybe I'm too stuck in my ways but give me a clean Pioneer 600 anyday !
Anyway ... whats the big deal about Urei's ?
There's no such thing as a "clean" Pioneer 600, George.....JMJ:biglaugha:

If you prefer faders, you oughta try an Allen & Heath Xone 62 or Xone 92.

Yup...smooth like butta...and a great CLEAn sound.
Pioneer's new digital mixers are the best thing they have done besides the cd-j's.
Smooth faders and finally a decent sound outta them.

Feel - once you get used to rotary faders, they feel more "organic," IMO. You can work a mix in a way you can't with faders.
Sound quality - Pioneers sound like absolute shit; and Ureis sound warm and beautiful, with a great "punch."

Very true.Once I got used to playing on a rotary,I could do some ill ass smooth blends with it.
I still prefer sliders for doing mixing and tricks, but if I am playing,I would prefer rotaries.

When I played with the Sensei.....i was on a Urei and it was cool....
Ya know... when I used the Urei in NJ this weekend , the eq board wasn't on it so I wasnt able to " freq " the mixes like I do normally....
Maybe that was it ....
