I'm coming to boston late september, whats the weekend like?

I have my cousin's kid's bar mitzvah the last weekend in september and I would, ideallly, like to try to go out and check out the local scene while I'm there.


what day and times are some good events up there?

anything on friday nights and/or sunday nights?
