do u recommend al green's new album?

i am wondering whether to pick it up or not, since i havent heard any singles off the album yet.

Pick it up on principle alone. He is in cahoots with him and Ann Peebles' old band again.

Pick it up because he didn't try to get Jimmy Jam or Jermaine Dupree or the Neptunes to produce the music. Good old school funky soul.

I plan to buy this one. Seems like a good record to have. I love Al. smile.gif

i read a good article about him in one of those throwaway mags - Details, i believe - which said that this is his return to non-Christian music after doing gospel for many years. so has anybody bought the album?
