Why isn't this being covered by CNN?
police chief quotes (paraphased of course)
"he didn't empty the clip, he only shot him four times." WHAT!!!
"this is an isolated incident"
last weekend a 19 year boy was beaten to death by a cop

You know why, don't you? It would be nice if they did, though. Certainly someone should be raising holy heck about it!!!

Well yes I know why, i guess it was rhetorical.. but I just sent them a complaint. That video's real disturbing and the world needs to see it.

Cool. They do need to be covering it. And I'm hoping it shows up on Alternet.org also...sent them a note myself...sending it to a friend who works at Columbia School of Journalism too.

I just hope there's more AP coverage and that folks are made to pay attention. Sounds like the police there are ...ummm...wildin'!
just the other day a police colonel was quoted saying "we don't have a problem with corruption in the police force. we have a problem with criminals that have infiltrated our ranks."
either way the police force is compromised and has been for years.
the shit down here is outta control.
every day theres something about a cop going down for something
hopefully
the chief of police and the governor will get down to cleaning house.

Officer Javier Pagan Cruz charged with 1st degree murder and bail was set at $500,000. The Puerto Rico Department of Justice is also deciding whether or not to bring charges up on the two officiers that were present at the incident.
I don't think they can give him a fair trial here
a poll on the news yesterday found 97% of the people polled thought he was guilty of murder before he was even charged.
fuck him
let him burn
