I use to breakdance back when I was a teenager in the 80's. I just came across this on youtube. Moves that use to be unthinkable, are now being done.

I was an all around Bboy in the 80's...I did graffiti, danced and DJ. I never touched a mic though.

This kid in the video clip has great power moves but, he lacks spice.

I like to see more uprocks/toprocking vs. power moves.

yep, i think he's got talent, but this is 25+ years on, you would expect an improvement, next it'll be in the olympics, like where most of the moves are originally taken, gymnastics.

A lad I know, Maccy, used to be the best guy around here for anything on his hands, juming hand spins, crab etc. He had a hernia op when he was in his late twenties, due to breaking.

Not fake. The footage has been slowed down/manipulated, but I've seen lots of footage from that battle, and that dude just gets down like that.

If the clip is of B-Boy Junior (haven't watched it yet), it is definitely all real. The reason he probably doesn't do a lot of uprock/toprock is because he has one bad leg - walks with a VERY pronounced limp. He makes up for it with his powerful upper body, though.

...and Pang...those seemingly fake "reverse" moves you see are his trademark.

I wasn't good at breakn. I was aiiight in uprockn. But I use to boogie my @$$ off when it came to poppn. We use to battling dudes at park jams, school yards and in front of the record store on the Ave before they closed down. I also DJd, MCd, wrote graffiti, blast boom boxes and drank quarts of Old E(pre 40 ounce days).

Look up a cat named Abstrak from Skill Methodz Crew, he's the TRUTH. I mean, that dude took new school flow and moves, incorporated it with old school style and finesse and just has that raw B-Boy stance in his shit.

The whole crew is all-around dope. Flipz, Teknyc, Cloud, Luigi, Venum, etc are all just flat out nasty. Good peeps too.
