I'm uncomfortable with dragging the civil rights movement into the Vick case. The reason Vick got busted is because he has been running w some bad company. The dogfighting indictment is tangential to a drug investigation involving the property in question

Vick is innocent until proven guilty, however, its of note that all around him are copping pleas

Of course he is. And it's gonna be a big ugly poster.

I'm not cool with the "civil rights" angle just because as nuanced as that one article is, it's not reflective of what much of the press is likely to portray. The conversation around that case is going to be UGLY.
