Thank you for the links John.
I don't think anyone here thinks that rape is a laughing matter.

Rape is a serious crime and a serious act. I would never wish that on anybody because people don't deserve that kind of treatment or experience.

Not a laughing matter whether the victim is a man or woman. At least someone is policing the posts today.

But if go to a night club and shoot someone to death. You care about their 'tushie."
Do the crime do the time.
That's why you think about things before you do them.
I never said rape was funny but C-Murder isn't the victim here. You think the victim's family cares about C-Murders anal condition?

Are you guys telling me you care about what happens to some SOB that murders or rapes someone? Give me a break! If some rat bastard rapes or murders my sister, my mother, my aunt, my friends (girl or guy), a child, or any person walking down the street then I really don't give a rat's ass what happens to him/her in prison.
If you don't wanna get raped, beaten up, killed, or have your freedom taken while you're in prison then straighten up and fly right. I certainly wouldn't wish for harm on someone while they are in there, but I really don't care about what happens to them while they're in there. If you go to prison, you're in there for a reason.

Anyhow, we are talking about rape right?
wow.
Doing the time for your crime does not mean being raped. And you can keep your but this and but that, no pun intended..........

I didn't know gf and mhd felt so passionately about C-Murders "backdoor."
I got serious and went back to C-Murders thread and said something nice. He'll be missed.
Geez, chill out.
And for the record...you can't compare someone getting raped out in the streets vs. someone who murdered someone and is raped in prison.
From here on
someone needs to teach C-Murder what we learned back in my young days in school:
"Say No!"
"then GO!"
"and tell!"

Something is terribly wrong with him--he's absorbed the wrong message and made it his mantra.

I agree with you to a certain degree. People go to prison to serve time for a crime they have committed. Rape was not part of his/her sentence. It is inhumane. I wouldn't want to see anyone killed, but at the time I DON'T WANT TO SEE ANYONE RAPED who did kill someone. Let the punishment fit the crime. People go to jail/prison for minor offenses too so are they subject to the same treatment? Just my 2cents.

Man, you guys crack me up, it's not ok to rape & murder innocent people but it is ok to rape & murder bad mean people. WTF!?! no wonder our world is shit.
Ya'll would kill someone one who did some shit to your loved ones, well hello if you go to jail for your righteous behaviour, you too would be subjugated to being raped also.
Whatever.
I'm off this, I forgot I was talking to men, and hell yes I am generalizing...too ****ing bad. *sigh*

No, and you are correct that being raped is not part of a person's sentence and they shouldn't be subjected to that kind of treatment. However, prison rape DOES exist and it IS an unofficial punishment. Is it right? No, but it happens. That's a fact. With that said, that should be enough to deter people from getting involved with illegal activity thus keeping them from being incarcerated and possibly raped. This is a justice/correctional system issue IMO.

Wrong! I never said it was ok and I pray that I would be blessed to use logical thinking, if God forbid, something tragic were to happen to someone I love. I wouldn't wish harm on anyone, but I don't really care about what happens to someone in prison that commited a violent crime like rape or murder.

I'm off this, I forgot I was talking to men, and hell yes I am generalizing...too ****ing bad. *sigh* Actually I'm a woman and don't feel much compassion for anyone that rapes or kills... Life has a way of punishing you.. and jail is not a punishement, IMO for the crimes some people commit... its just room and board...

It should focus on rehabilitation and education of prisoners that will be released into the general population rather than just confinement.
