Thanks to Sammy Rock for releasing my EP on Cyberjamz Records

You can listen to the clips to The Wanderings EP at www.myspace.com/foulsoulrecordings

I hope you all will enjoy this. There's something for everyone and I believe this EP fully explains my vision and the sound I'm beginning to mold and build. You can obviously hear the influences from MAW, Frankie Feliciano, Louis Bennedetti, Kerri Chandler, Wayne Gardner, and Jovonn.

Exclusive Preview: The Groove Victim presents "The Wanderings EP" (Cyberjamz Records CD-R)

Jay Brown aka The Groove Victim presenting a hot demo here with "The Wanderings EP" which features three variations of "Through the rabbit hole", a beautifully arranged and orchestrated track with a flute solo that will take you on journey into the laidback and mellow grounds of house music. The 'His Soul Mix' is a smoothly groovin' affair with lovely kickin' beats and drums. The 'Foul Soul Dub' adds some wicked chords that give the track a deeper feeling, while the 'Journeys Beginning' is flippin' the beats nicely to give it a sweet broken beat feeling.

Peace

I like this

the 1st mix on the my space page does it for me (not sure which mix that is hard to tell on myspace)

the drums remind me a little of Black Action
has a real nice mood to it
will play it loud when i get home for a better review

what do you use for production?

Blackwax, that's the "Journey's Beginning" mix.

I use Reason 3.0 to create my tracks. Finally got the feeling for my beats and how I want them to sound. Man this took months and months of studying, trial and error, and determination. Now that I can achieve the type of beats I've been imagining in my head, everything else falls into place, for example, the "His Soul" mix.
