I'm a baseball fan. And I despise the Cubs and most of their fans, but I won't openly root against them if they make the post season. Now if they LOSE, I'm gonna talk shit, but since the Sox won it in 2005 and I got to enjoy it, I see no reason to root against the Cubs.

I'm sure we'll never hear the end of it. but naah. I won't root against them. It'll be Bears season by then anyway, so I won't really care.

i grew up and live in the southside.

it never fails. when ever i wear cubs gear i get unsolicited crap from white sox fans about the usual

"every cubs fans only go to wrigley to get drunk talk cell phones'... 'gay' blah blah blah'

just the other day my buddies neighbor starts cubs fans this cubs team that

then i asked him to name the division the sox play in and the teams in that division....not one team coud he name

Boston will likey be the most watched team this year. Its a lot of expectation when Garnett, Pierce, and Jesus Shuttleworth are on the same team. The Atlantic division will be interesting. I still see Miami and Boston vying for the top spots though.

If you live in Chicago even if you are a sox fan you should root for the Cubs.When the sox went to the World Series I had a sense of pride knowing that a team from my hometown can be World Champs. Ever since I was a little boy listening to Jack Brickhouse and wanting to be Billy Williams I have been a Cubs fan.Hopefully this year we can finally bring the pennant to Addison and Clark.

as you could probably tell from the posts on the subject (including this one) for the most part the rivalry is one sided (Sox Fans). i'm a Cubs fan all the way but i understand where the Sox fans are coming from. but i also know that the Cubs fans that Soxers hate are not the REAL Cubs fans it's just the ones that you mainly see at the games. Goofy Yuppy motherfuckers and the bandwagonesque "transports" who move to Chicago and out of the blue become a Cubs fan... FUCK THEM. we can't even get a fucking ticket cuz of these fucks. and why the fuck is the game always sold out? do any of these motherfukers work?.
