So, I'm thinking of taking a fall weekend (october or november)to visit chicago, catch some blues and some house...where should I look for blues...anything anyone recommends? I'd get in Fri nite and leave sunday afternoon...

I'm figuring I'll work on the house end of it around here somewhere...:biggrin:

I can't give str8 leads but check North side venues for Blues. Also 1 place on South Side is LEE'S Unleaded Blues 73rd and South Chicago:wink:

the Place on South Chicago is definatelya true blues joint! also check out the Checkerboard lounge on 52nd in Harper if you want Blues.As far as House goes there are Plenty of Venues on Any given night to get your jack on. I got some things booked already for October and November if you are intrested hit my pm and Ill give you a run-down. If I dont see you I hope you have a good time while you are here. Make sure you check the Weather and dress properly, October and November can be real unpredictable in The Windy City!:wink:
