"It's a log time ini slaving/down here in babylon....working so hard way back/in the burning sun....
A pure sufferation/a pure starvation...ini have to be strong/to face this tribulation...
Forward knotty-dread one more time down the road..."
Have it on an old tape (circa 1987) from the roots/reggae program that used to air on saturday afternoons on WHPK-never got the artist though.

I'll check.
Do you remember what the lyric in the chorus is ?

I know only the hook which is: "Forward knotty dread one more time down the road..." Heavy harmonizing with the chorus and hookline.
