In the spirit of what RichieRich brought up, what were some of the best rock cuts that made it on to your play list?
Mine's were
Either by group, song or both...
The Police - When the world is...
Voices inside my head
The Clash - Radio Clash & Magnificent Seven
Talking heads - I can't remember the names of some of the cuts (so help me out)
Genius of love- I forgot that one too
Hall & Oates - I can't go for that
If you think of some add to the list, I'm sure I'm forgetting some major cuts.
Peace. graemlins/acclaim.gif

Would Boz Scaggs "Lowdown" be considered a Rock song? Most of their material definitely fit in that genre.

These are all rock songs. The Boz Scaggs is light rock and the other groups mentioned were considered "alternative rock" when they came out. graemlins/cool_shades.gif

What Rock cut did Hall & Oates do??? Please don't say Adult Education...let Hall & Oates play at a Rock festival and see what happens.. They tried it with Jamiroquai and they got booed off the stage... But what do I know I've only been a Rock n Roller since 1970. It's all about your own interpretation anyways but The Stones are not a Disco group because they put out a disco record..right?? Hall & Oates = Rock..bwahahahahahaha!!

Alex. ;) Hi Alex.
"Talking in Your Sleep" got lots of play as a pop tune on the radio, but it's club usage was minimal from my experience.
