First, I would like to say thanks to Kai Alice & Alison for their hospitality. The HOUSE IN THE PARK PICNIC was off da meters. We arrived at the park at around 11:30 am to set the equipment and banners up, people were already there setting up their tents. The smell of food cooking on the grill was already in effect. The Dj's Kai Alice,Rasoul,Kemmit were all on point. The beautiful people of Atlanta came to party(and they say that there's no HOUSE in Atlanta) you could have fooled me.

From the time the music started people were dancing in the pavillion. Around 2 pm the pavillion was packed with lovely people dancing to lovely music being delivered by great dj's.The people were dancing like there life depended on it,baby powder on the concret, people dancing on top of the tables due the floor being jam pack, brothers jacking on the pavillion pillers. THE MOMENT OF TRUTH CAME when Kai Alice was playing a version Bohannon's "LETS START TO DANCE" that I have never heard before. All I heard was the guitars playing and the beats banging. Then Kai dropped the bass out and highs were screaming into the night air. All of sudden the pavillion got quite and there was no reaction, so like a veteran Dj Kai kept the bass out and demanded a reaction from his floor. So, as Kai started to bring in the vocals in Bang Bang gimmie some, with the bass still down the place went into and uproar like you hear when a home run is hit for the home team at a baseball game.
This was a HOUSE IN THE PARK PICNIC that you don't want to miss next year. If you love HOUSE MUSIC this event should be put on your schedule for next year.

This clip is not the moment you were talking about, but you can see that Kai has done a wonderful job through the years of cultivating our pallet for quality HOUSE music in Atlanta.

It especially means a lot to us when people like you, Jovonn, Rich Medina and Kevin Hedge come to town and see that we have serious House scene here.

And for Ramon Rawsoul to put so much in giving the community this free event every year...it's a beautiful thing.

Thank you for coming and giving us so much at the park and at Sugarhill Sunday night.
