Fair enough about the just having fun. However, on the world level, by the time you get to the Finals, the women are as good as the men, particularly the us team. The movement is only a little slower, but it is world class stuff (caught me off guard too, I must admit).
In addition, there's the added bonus for all the horny bastid like my self of seeing a** running around. Who knows, another one might rip off their top in that famous shot after the US women won the world cup.
Lastly, something that's not said, but in terms of skill the men's US team is no where near the level of the women. That goes for the game across the board, at all levels actually. The girls here have been playing for decades longer than the boys. In fact, the rest of the world is playing catch-up to the US women's team.
Based on your view of women playing football, I am sure you understand how this could come about.

USA Men have come a long way
they were robbed here in chicago vs brazil on a non-call in the box.
they also won copa america.
they played Italy in the gold cup 2006 (who would go on to win the gold cup) really well defensively
Lets get one thing settled, the US men's team is sh*t. No matter what one wants to say about no calls or whatever. The US mens team is sh*t.
The time to put up is World Cup or on the quiet Champions League, or Club Champion Ship (European Best vs. South American Best).
The US may have come a long way, but they need another 10 to 15 before anything really starts to click.

I was walking by a park the other day and they had 2 teams from a women's league playing... lets just say I forgot where I was going; they had these really nice shorts on, I wonder what brand they were.
I like watching the women's game as well (besides liking their shorts).

hahahahahaha.... Funny... It's a play on "Golden Boot".
Funny story…
<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
I remember, I was playing in a co-ed league. Each team had to field two women. But for the women, the competition was decent, plus it gave me a warm-up match for my more competitive open class league.

Anyhoo, one week this team showed up and field a pair of sisters, one of which was fine (IMO) as hell, and the other was so so (IMO). Black female soccer players, btw. However, they both has nice a**es and wore tight shorts. The fine one, I was chatting up the one that I was clearly attracted to. Anyway, me and the ugly one went for a lose ball, a sudden dash is the best way to describe it. Somehow, however, my hand found her a**, i.e., it hit her a** and mad a great big slapping sound. POW!!!! It was accidental, but she started to cry foul, about how I had grabbed her a** and all that. I lost it, starting cursing, cussing, telling her to get off the pitch. Meanwhile, the team was doing all they could to stop from dropping to the floor and rolling around with laughter. Dang I was heated though because here I am trying to win a ball and this stupid girl is thinking about me trying to cop a cheap feel. What’s more annoying is that I was not feeling her. Now if it was the cute one, it would have been a different story.

Anyway……

After they scored they were taking off the goal scorers shoe... I saw the highlight real quick..that shit was hot!!!
after she laced that shot to the back of the net, she took her right shoe off and kissed it. Then she, same goal scorer, came back with some awesome dribbling, and put one more to the back of the net, and then hopped out of both her shoes like they were hot.
classic!!!

wahey! England win by 50 runs...
onto the match last night - that was classssssssssssssssssssssssssss, not seen an england team play like that for a long time. Was a really refreshing display of pass and move... I'd stick with that team until they falter or theres an injury - keep rooney + lampard off...

Didn't see the England game, only caught the goals. Lumpard is a piece of sh*t. Rooney is a thug. Suprising to see Heskey back in it though. However, the right side of England has a new life to it. Shawn and Mika (sp?) bring something totally diff to the squad. That last goal by Ferdinand was hilarious. Some serious striker play there. LOL
good stuff for a a minute, I was thinking we were in trouble.

being a Leicester fan i think Heskey should have been in the england team from the start - hahaha, his partnership with Rooney gives the best goal ratio ever i think, or something like that... hes a similar player to crouch - holds the ball up, but hes stronger and less prone to fouling defenders... Gareth barry was awesome in midfield, only one of his passes went astray at the end... Terry was commanding in defence as well, always making it back in time and making those tackles... Mica (lol) Richards is good down the side, as well as Wright Phillips, shame he couldn't pop that header in...

hahahahaha being an outside observer, all I can think is that whoever Heskey plays for, they get relegated. Didn't Birmingham go down when Heskey came on board. We know the story with Leicester City. :rofl5:

"It was the wrong decision and anyone who knows anything about the game knows that," Solo said in a TV interview after the game. "There's no doubt in my mind I would have made those saves."
coach fucked up big time, imo. putting aside who would've played better in goal, the team seemed distracted after a pretty focused performance up until this game. really idiotic move that will hopefully get him canned...
