I'm here to deliver some news for you and me/Love runs like a river of hope for you and me/Now can't you see/You're more than just a passing pleasure/You're a dream that's real/You heal My Soul

similar percussion? yes.

sample? methinks not.

"Keys Of Life" has a very similar percussion loop as well, but it ain't no sample.

I don't think there are any samples.

Louie just told me the story of the song's creation yesterday, and he made it sound as though it was all live.

The key line was written by Albert Menendez, and when Louie heard it, he know that he wanted Raul to come in and sing.

Production credits read: Produced by Louie Vega & Albert Menendez, Drum Programming: Kenny Dope, Keyboards: Albert Menedaz, Guitar: Raúl Mindón, Percussion: Richard Bravo, Bass: Rico Suarez, Backgrounds: Raúl Mindón, Cindy Mizelle, Lisa Fischer, Recording engineer: Frank Socorro

I got it a couple weeks ago. What do you wanna know?

It's available in Japan now (I think). Hits US stores on July 3 (I think).

But Im not sure about that stiry. What I can say is that the percussion in both tracks are identical and Im sure the Africamism track did inspire the production of 'Cercal de mi' significantly.

I must say myself, that I 'Felt' this song instantly. The keys in it really touch me and the deep warm male vocals grip me somewhere inside. No song has ever made me feel like this. graemlins/1luvu.gif
