I know this is a shot in the dark, but I remember hearing this one very energetic track on a bootleg mixtape of Daft Punk live in Chicago (April 1997). They spun a lot of funky house back then...
Anyway, there's this one track, it builds up slowly with a piano loop... and then there are some gospel like vocals, but no words... just this woman singing at the top of her lungs... it's pretty repetitive, but definitely a very energetic track... some peak-time material...
If ANYONE has the slightest clue of the track I'm talking about, please post away...
I would post an audio sample, but I have misplaced the mixtape somewhere...
