Which one was 1st?

I was going through my collection the other day and ran across a similar song by different artists. I know it happens a lot in house music. Anyway, I saw a copy of Lil Louis' "New York" and Armando's "151". Which one was made first? Just curious? Actually I love each one equally.

151.The first version that dropped on the Hot Mix 5 acid comp was not the original version.The original version dropped later in 88 on Warehouse records.That's the version everyone was dropping from tape back in the day.

I had a raw version of 151,that still had the snyc tone in the background.Louis' version dropped in 89,even though I recall him droppin it in 89.Boy,to hear Louis bang that shit at the Bismarck was insane.

Thanks Big Sexy. I do have both Armando versions and I have the Lil Louis version. I do prefer the Armondo version on the Hot Mix 5 Acid LP. I like the accents on the rimshots. That's back when a lot of people used the Roland 707 drum machine with the real hard kickdrum. Those songs were very easy to blend and much easier to know when your pitch was off.

It was a remix that Armando and LL made together. Apparently Armando never got any credits for his work on this version.
