What an exhausting but fun weekend.First checked Ian friday,Lou gorbea at element.They are damn good djs that was the first time i had ever heard them play.The club itself is beautiful,love how the dj is above the dancefloor.Then we went to a loft party in the bx i cant begin to explain what a musical journey that was.Never made it to shelter but i know it was crazy.

I'm glad someone had fun. I fell asleep in the late afternoon on both days. I went to Moe's (I need to find another bar to go to) and that's it.

I went to see dj harvey at love, he was awesome! I got there at 1am and he was being kinda hit or miss in his selection, then eventually he played "L.O.V.E Got A Hold On Me" and it was lift off.... every song he played from that point forward was dope....I dropped to my knees when he played "loves got me high" which I haven't heard out in awhile...I stayed till about 6:30 and was gonna walk to shelter but I knew if I went i would have danced for two hours and fallen asleep on one of the benches...

my question is how do you guys do the straight push through from saturday without chemical aid? I usually just get up early and go to shelter at around 9-10am


what's the deal with that party in the bx?

i lost my damn mind when he played it... this record in the context of everything he's playing around this record is so amazing... i was all choked up

I have never heard Lou play a live set, but Ian Friday is a beast...

the crowd was actually pretty good...definitely a little bit of the amateur hour crowd earlier on. as it got later it thinned out, and the music got better and the crowd that was left was really really into it..
