I just wanted to thank everyone for coming to the DHP Chicago Party last Friday night. It was truly one HOT Ass Party. Torin, I just want to thank you for including me in this event. Both your professionalism and ability to let me and DG do our thing was much appreciated. I would like to personally thank Kee of Kee Lo Watt Productions for filling in as co-host at a moments notice.

The party: Well let’s just say I have never been to Sonotheque where there was so much Energy; especially when Body Heat was played; with all the stomping and clapping. I was happy to see Johnnie Mae in the House. She never comes to the Northside. All the ladies were beautiful. The men were dressed too. That was sexy. To all my girls. Thank you! There were way too many people to remember but thank you, thank you and thank you.

To those that didn’t get the whistles, condoms, and disco ball earrings: You gots to get to the party early.

Torin, Terry and Craig, all of you set the tone for this very successful event. You all spun off of each other and kept the momentum going throughout the entire evening.

Thanks to Working For Togetherness for donating the flavored condoms for our Safe Sex Is Sexy Campaign. Pictures will be posted soon.

Stayed tuned for upcoming events.

Peace,

Larissa J.

Ive been to Sonotheque on many different occasions: Africa Hi-fi, Inner sound system, Josh Deep's nights with Osunlade, the original saturday nights before all of the various monthly events and i have to say the energy at the Dhp party does'nt measure up to the best nights at those legendary events. One party cant erase history.

congrats with your events.

Well alrighty then LOL....good job Torin, Larissa and Kee Kee. It was a good night for music across the board. I also want to thank everyone for coming out to support the party. From the looks of it, everyone seemed to have a damn good time.

Thanks for the opportunity

Just an observation. I'm Not affiliated with the events mentioned. I 've been there enough times to know what's real.

Good luck & Good Times

You are certainly entitled to your opinion. I have been to all of the same parties as well. What I look for in a party is the ability to keep me on the floor most or all of the night. Uh........... some of the parties did not. The parties were packed................. yeah, but I look for other key elements. And while Osunlade is one of my favorite djs, he often disappoints me too. But i'll keep supporting him as well as most of the djs and promoters of those events, because the music is a part of all of our lives. We have to support each others events.

I couldn't make it and I am so hurt. It looks like one of the best parties this year. Everyone looks like they are really having fun. I definitely won't miss the next hot gathering, wherever it is.

I've only been to Sonoteque a had full of times - so obviously I'm no expert, but I've been to more than my fair share of really great parties, and Friday nite was a perfect example. Wonderful music, beautiful people, incredible energy, lovely atmosphere . . . what more can you ask for?

Thank you to everyone for the hard work I know went into producing such an incredible event. We really had a ball . . .
