After having several highly successful single releases, UPZ (the project of producer and DJ Avi Elman) drop their self titled "United People of Zion" album which features some of their previous releases as well as unreleased tracks and forthcoming singles. The hot artist n producer Avi Elman aka Upz comes thru with this wonderful L.P filled with some of there earlier releases and new producion work.I've been a fan of Upz for quite sometime now and they sure have deliverd in thier new L.P entitled "United People of Zion".Blessed with 13 tracks this L.P is a must for those that love everything from downtempo,funky hip-hop to house.This is the "Best of Upz".( 8 of 10 )/Complete L.P

1)Pure Surprise--This is a hot downtempo/Hip Hop mix.Nice job.

2)Touched by Heaven--I've been Touched with this great vocal track.

3)Fanga(Hillary Sargeant/Upz Funky Mix)--I love this track right here,fantastic exploration of music and culture.

4)Afrika Wo-man-This is the first time Ive heard this track,a really nice tropical with African spoken-word(singing)..Nice bassline and arrangements on this cut.

5)Mundo Infiantil-More on the latin tip with flutes and foreign language still make this track hot,no matter what the langauge or culture.

6)Saturday Night-Downtempo Smooth R&B version..for lovers in the house!Im digging this track.

7)Into Something Good--A lovley male vocal song with meaning.These are the kinds of tracks I miss...fantasitc.

8)Prayer for me--More on the peak-hr tip but effective.Complete with vocals,bassline and arrangements.Lovely!!

9)Rok da Funk(Hip Hop Mix)-Jazzy,funky and plain ol fun..The rap is hot!

10)NoIZ--One of my favorite tracks of this L.P. The spoken-word message and music go hand n hand.Excellent.
*Extra footnote* Abicah Soul did a rmx of this track which is also hotness!! **out soon on Objektivity

11)Ki Sa Ou Di--This is still a hot track IMO..No matter what the language,the music is universal.

12)Hangin on a Dream(Album Edit)--This is the cut! Wonderful vocal.

13)Pure Surprise(House Mix)--The House Mix is indeed another reason why this L.P. will do well in the charts.
