One of the reasons why I was pulling for the Cubs was that a victory would quell the massive outrage directed at the unfortunate Steve Bartman. This affair is getting out of control, there is no cub fan more sorry about the tragic turn of events than Bartman. This dude has suffered enough let the guy live in peace, steve displayed a natural reaction towards a play- from his vantage point- that could not be made. There were several people attemting what Bartman was trying to do and those other folks were let off the hook,Steve was the unlucky one who touched the ball that`s it!I really feel bad for Cubs fans who really deserved a trip to the W.S and understand their fustation. But you gotta be awfully proud of your Cubs and what they accomplished, these guys were so exciting to watch and its a pity they came up a tad short. They simply were outplayed by the most dangerous team in baseball after the Red Sox.The Cubbies will be back next year bet on that. smile.gif

Man it wasn't the poor guys fault?! He didn't give up a bases drunk triple, he didn't bobble a ball at short, nor did he whiff with runners in scoring position icon_rofl.gif
