How does that decision look now......Still the right decision. This was Griese's first significant playing time in 3 years. Mistakes were bound to happen. The far more concerning mistakes were all the dropped balls by the butterfinger WR's of the Bears. Griese will play better, but will the receivers?

Its almost as if I the Bears being at the Super Bowl was a fluke last year! Is it some parrallel universe here? Who are these poeple playing on our team? And how many years does Grossman have left on his contract? Ugghh

There is one thing here is in Chicago that we all know that live here and follow Chicago sports know is that we don't spend money on players until thay are past there prime. And if a player starts to play well we will not give them a new contract. So it not just the Bears its all Chicago teams. It could be me back there QBing and if you don't give me the time and i have to run for my life I will F@ck up too. And come on now we have never and I repeat never had a Quarterback here in Chicago.:cussing: And Please don't even think the Cubs are going to do something in the Playoffs and this is from a Chicago sports fan.IMAO

Westbrook makes all the difference..they can't win without him

He would've made a difference. Don't know that they would've won the game, but McNabb wouldn't have been sacked 47 times......JMJ :biglaugha:

I don't think Urlacher, Peanut Tillman, or Nate Vasher are complaining about money, are they? That old "the McCaskey's aren't going to pay anybody" line is crap....if you want to argue they spent the money wrong, that's fine, but the Bears are not in this position because the haven't cut any checks....

All That Sh*t They Were Talking in Training Camp About How Explosive They Looked And We Have Yet to See The Two Tight End Set With Hester And Berrian Stretching The Field....But Then Again....Cedric Benson-Salaam Can't Get Nothing Going in The Running Game, But The O-Line and Tired Assed Play Calling From One of The Turner Bros. Is Also A Factor

sackeed 11 times mcnabb was
Correction - he was sacked 12 times (tying an NFL record of sacks in one game).
Strahan AND Umenyiora actually felt bad for Winston Justice...
Strahan - ""That poor kid that they had over there, Why didn't they help him? I felt, in an odd way, you could ruin the guy. It's his first start and that's what he gets. It's not a good thing."

Drove up to Detroit for that game! If you're six yards away from scoring a touchdown, why not run the fuckin' ball in?
