There are two things that I cannot stand.

1. People who call their children mf's, b's, etc.
2. People who would rather peserve their already fucked up relationship with their significant other, than preserve their child's life or spend time with them.

Sometimes a child might be a terror and make you want to do some terrible things to them, but verbal abuse is the worst kind of abuse there is. The scars are everlasting. Children nowadays have to deal with so much more than we had to deal with back in the day. We had places we could turn to when it was bad at home. All some of these kids have are the streets. Most households are single parent, mainly women, and I know that it is increasingly dfficult to be positive, when you have to work, take the kids to school, keep food on the table and so on, but we have got to recognize the damage that we do to our children by taking it out on them. A child's love is unconditional.

You must have heard someone cussing out their kids.I can't stand it either. The babies don't have anything to do with a parents shortcomings.

The parents get frustrated, which I can understand at times, but don't take out your madness on the babies.I love kids and would not do anything to harm them.I look down on folks who abuse kids.It ain't right.

It seems like the worse types can spit babies out legft and right and the ones who would really take care and nuture a child are usually childless.

children need attention. real attention. nurturing. parents nowadays let the TV raise their children (among other things). its not enough.

times have really changed since we were kids. i wouldn't let my child go across the street to the park without my (or my wife's) direct supervision. back in the day, we could go just about anywhere (within gang boundaries of course smile.gif ) and not have to worry about getting kidnapped or killed.

everybody's momma was your momma. now people don't give a crap.

i really hate it when parents calls their kids "stupid". sometimes i think that if a child hears it enough s/he might start to believe it.

Jamie, you are so right. It took me 6 years to have my son and I know of at least two couples that are trying really hard to get pregnant. It isn't right.
