hey everyone! graemlins/cheering.gif i've been laying low for a while and hope that all is well with each and everyone for you...even though there's no permanent position for me yet, i'm still holding on...on another front...this month has been gangbusters in finding classics on vinyl...this past 4th of July weekend, i went to a local store and peeked through the 12-inch section...usually, the 12-inch section at the store reeks of 90s gangster rap and 90s cheezy, pop-dance but some veteran disco dj by the name of Dennis appeared to have donated his collection...i came across sunshine sound acetates of "ecuru", "stubborn kind of fella", and "my sweet summer suite", plus an unlabeled 12" acetate of ltg exchange's "corazon"...my heart was doing a triple take at all of these classics with most of them going for 98 cents....needless to say, i took the plastic out and got the following:
wilton felder -- we all have a star (1978/"let's dance together" is one of my favorite songs from this find:)
