Jessy's first record came out on Trax? Here is the truth.

Who made the first song and used the word House? Here is the truth.

Who were the First House Music DJ's? Here is the truth.

Truth prove people lying etc when they tell of the History of House and as I locate photos etc, there will be plenty of holes in the stories that the WORLD now believe to be true fact after I am done.

The Musicbox membership cards sold on ebay are copies, nobody has come forward to show an original card except me...I have the only card left.

The photo of my card that I posted here on DHP has been touched up etc and sold here and there.

I never posted a photo of the flip side of the card because - I am the last card holder. Which is why nobody can say whe the flip side has on it.

I guess nobody knew the card had two sides. To me, that card is priceless and if one looks at all the photos on the net of the card, you will see the fold mark in the middle, the blackened I and border at the letter i (small caps) and the M at the bottom (of a different font) on the card in the card blackened, the numbers on the card are Casio codes for the SK1 keyboard that I used back in the day.

The shot in the video is the original photo I posted on DHP years ago.

Some may see me as dissing people, the truth I tell defends itself and if someone is dissed...it's only because they are telling lies.

I don't need to say it, the truth defends itself.

Good stuff for the most part, but you might want to edit the part about Herb Kent and WGCI AM 1390 - Herb's "Punk Out" show aired on WXFM 105.9, a small FM station located in Elmwood Park, not AM 1390, which was still WVON back then before they moved down to 1450 on the dial. Gannett didn't use the call letters WGCI on AM 1390 til the mid 80's. Herb's show used to come on right before Pervis Spann "The Blues Man" weeknights on WXFM.......JMJ

JMJ is correct, from my recollection. And the timeline all really depends on what one considers "house." Although we weren't yet calling it "house," we were certainly playing stuff (some of it in that video) that many people today would call "house" well before the Herb Kent punk-out era. We weren't calling it "house" but neither was Herb. Honestly, Herb's introduction to this sound was largely through Wayne Williams and Jesse Saunders. Thankfully, he embraced it and used his platform to help get it out there. He's a key figure in the Chicago house (there's that word again...) movement, no doubt.

Like I said, the truth defends itself. I knew Herb was on WXFM - I wanted to see if anybody caught that one. His focus club at that time was The First Impressions - located across the street from the Playground. Disco Toni was the sexy-est amd most popular female in the place. CJ the DJ did many a party there but Wayne was the man! Vince and I met there, and talked about dreams of being big time DJ's. They called us Salt & Pepper because of our skin tone. We were always together and we both are still Skinny as hell today...I guess some things don't change.

I am glad that people are watching what I am posting...in time this may clear my name as a Lier as some say that I am.

Yea, I piss people off but, it's better than me doing an R. Kelly,,,,,,,,LOL.

I have love for all who speak true on what we know as House, I hold no hate for them that lie...that is a waste of energy. I use the energy that could be used for hate to make these little videos that speak louder that I can.

I love when I put out info that does not pour salt on people and it is enjoyed. I guess it has been seen that none of my videos are The Leonard Rroy show. I talk about a variety of DJ's and pour salt on Nobody. I figure, if I have something bad to say about someone, just say nothing and move on to the next person.

I will say this as of word of mouth & myspace...when I got burned and was really out the loop Frankie was really giving me encouragement via email.

Stuff like that is whats really important, being in some corner when they are in need and not all in their face because they are in the DJ booth.

That was a remix done after Frankie remixed Let No Man Put Asunder back in the 80's. Don't know if it's hard to find or not.

Leonard,
long before you got into feeding us with facts about house music history, people here told me about your implications in the birth of this movment.

I don't think your facts, taken from your life, will be debated very long here and there. Too much of your stories have been stated as "true" by house godfathers to be discussed now.

I hope you don't feel like you're ignored Leo, cuase it ain't the truth.
