Can anyone recommend a wav program i can split a put track marks

Can anyone recommend what and where I can find a program I can put track marks on wav files for my dj mixes. Free programs please I am a broke ass college student. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Check for Samplitude on Kazaa.com. You can set track markers exactly where you want them with that software. Samplitude takes up a lot of memory though (875 MB), so you need quite a bit of free space.

wavelab is really great for this ... probably not available free unless you find it on a fileshare service, but it does the job. Also try CoolEdit - I believe there is a freeware version.

I record my mixes in soundforge and chop'em into tracks on that program. I then put all the tracks in nero and remove the two second pause between tracks.
