I have Round One ("I'm Your Brother" and Round Two ("New Day") on Main Street Records. I see they went up to Round Five. I was wondering what the opinions were on 3, 4, and 5. I didn't know until recently that the releases went past Two.

From what I can remember the later releases were more minimal/dub style.

I have the first four... to be honest the first two were the only really good ones, am selling the others
I never heard 3 or 5, but I thought 4 was wack. Round 2 is my favorite.

Along similar lines of the Maurizio/BC/minimal/chord/dub sound -
Mike Ink - Studio 1 (http://www.forcedexposure.com/artists/studio.1.html)

I tend to agree with you guys as far as club play but I like to chill out with this kind of stuff.

"New Day" is a great cut.
The first two were (I believe) Ron Trent& Chez Damier productions. The next 3 were Tikiman productions.

Is it just me or were these some shitty pressings? Mine have more cracks and pops than a box of Rice Krispies.

They did a mix of "I'm Your Brother"

click me (http://www.false-tuned.de/) the Basic Channel duo were in the studio 4 all of them. Ron & Chez were collaborating. 3 & 4 azre just as good as 1 & 2 IMO, just different and less in the obviously 'House' mould.

ivanjb, thanks for the clips. Quite different from One and Two, that's for sure.
My pressings were kindof bad too. I thought I just got unlucky.

I love the first 4 releases. I wasn't feeling #5.
Although 1 and 2 are different from 3 and 4.
For some reason, find myself playing the vocal versions of 3 and 4 ALOT. Has been in my regular rotation for the last 5 years easily. I love that Maurizio sound. Very sinister...
