^^^ thats the website (sorry I'm not sure how to make it a hyperlink)
Ummm download it. It's kinda tribal, I think it sounds like, a little native american. I put these WAYYYOOOO afrikan samples in it. Its not a floor filler, it is a long track, made easy for Djs to mix in and out of.
Basically it has a really light feel to it. Not so much a groove, more a peacefull, driving-ness to it. (Atleast thats how I hear it)
Please tell me what you think. (You guys know how much I value your opinions... and G-Man I know I was sposed to ask, but I'm sorry I couldn't wait. If you could see how blood shot my eye is right now from making this you'd probably call an ambulance)

Man, I feel really silly downloading all that stuff. I'm here listening to all
this stuff tryin to figure WTF?
As for Nakedage, good try, but as someone else sugested in another
thread, try sticking with re-editing good or decent tracks for now.

I downloaded and listened. I agree with your discription of it. Nice elements good for riding something else over the top or underneath depending on what you mix with it. Not something that would be a stand alone peak time track. This is something to build upon. Just my opinion, and hey what do I know.

Come on y'all. It is ok. It would be a lot better if it were cut down to about 5 minutes or 5 1/2 min MAX. Take out the delayed door closing/industrial/flute(?!) sound. You know the one I'm talking about. It was added to try to fill out the track but is just annoying. Add a PHAT ass bassline and drop the last 2/3rd of the track. Phatten up the piano sound and do more with the melody. Think in terms of adding layers to give the track more depth and feeling. The chanting is off key and the vocals just sound ill fitted to the track so save those for another track. The strongest part of the track is from 45sec to 3:38 seconds before that chanting. Also as you might know with the afro and latino influenced house music the basic 4/4 is kept but all types of percussion are added over the basic beat. The percussion here is ok but sounds punchy rather than free flowing. ALSO, the intro is wayyyy too long. What DJ is going to use an intro that is 1min 30 seconds long? By that time the dancefloor will be empty with folks going to the bar to get their drinking on. Close that gap to 30 seconds, maybe 45. Remember if a DJ wants to SHOW OFF they can always use the LOOP function for long intros etc.

yeah the vocals are out because I can't find anyone to do vocals for me, thus the ones I get to use, If I change the pitch it knocks them out.
As for sticking to remixing.. No... Everyone remixes today. I'd rather make my own.
Chris chase, as I said, its not supposed to be a floor filler. It's kinda something more for when you can't be fucked dancing. Its just to pass the time.
Dj Timmy Richardson .. YOU MASACRED MY MASTER PEICE :P no, I like how you did it. Especially the vocal, bit fast tho? But yeah see I wish I could get my hands on a vocal then, I could write tracks in accordance to the specific vocal. Now days I have like, a vocal sample pack that every time I make a track I try to find something to put over the top, and its so limited its rediculous. Did you butcher it in a studio or just, home software?
I made it at home on a program. I don't have access to studio equipment and stuff. Just, 2 computers speakers, one with pepsi in it.
What you remiuxed it into is more, Techno I'd say... If you want me to make you a techno or acid song.. Now.... Thats a completely different kettle of fish :)
I used to be a master tech/acid-smith back in my younger years :) .. nah but Im shit at that to :) thanks everyone for your criticisms tho, I appreciate them.

i like it. i just listened to it tonight. I was not looking to critic.. I had it on in the background while I was chatting and I found I did a head bop or 2. TOTs take is nice too.
maybe it could use more elements, body or whatever you producers call it but I was turned off by it.

had a listen - thinks its at a starting point myself- needs something to gel the loops up or somthing. Bit clean sounding at the mo. In tracks I like to hear flow, but with somthing to suprise me- dig in get creative and lets hear a stronger mix.
