don't know why i'm putting this up, put it caught my awareness.
Snowflake (b. approx. 1964, Equatorial Guinea, 180 kg), resident of the Barcelona Zoo, and one of the most photographed members of the animal kingdom, is set to die within a few months, suffering from skin cancer, which apparently has never been diagnosed of a mountain gorilla before. Zoo officials are not considering life-prolonging operations, and have publically assured to neither clone nor taxidermically prepare him. Barcelona's Lord Mayor Joan Clos has pledged to have a street named after him.
