Clairaudience Records: domestic or import?

I've been seeing their newer records out here in the west coast at import prices. What gives?

Clairaudience is a domestic label but gets pressed in England.
I really don't mind all that much as the pressings are crisp!
Basement Boys are pressing out of England now as well, so expect import prices on this label.
This may become a trend with other labels as well.
Many U.S. and Canadian pressing plants have closed in recent years as it is not a very profitable business anymore.
More vinyl is pressed in England & Europe than here so the price is right.
Unfortunately we have to pay for the shipping costs & duties.
Major labels here get a good price based on volume so they are able to be competetitive.
However smaller labels do not have this luxury.
Vinyl won't die soon.
You can always count on a rich eccentric type to keep it alive.
I know I would if I had the resources!
