That version of the song came out on this CD which has the never before released Chic versions of that whole album. The Chic mixes sound alot better than the original album.

My understanding is that Diana and Nile and Nard battled over this. Nile and Nard wanted this mix, while Diana wanted another. Nile and Nard asserted their producer authority, but since this was a Motown record, Diana want over their heads; hence, the polished album version.

I always thought that when it comes to an album, you gotta go with the polish. I love Nile and Bernard and love this version. However, for the album, Diana was right!

I got this house remix of that, ... ermmmmmm no sorry, like, Dance remix? I don't know, just a more upbeat and shit... Fucken love it.
