By electronically influenced reggae, you mean like modern productions of dub?
I really liked Dub Selector One & Two on Quango. Especially TWO.
All the Quango comps are really good..

electronically intrumentalised I meant.
Or good new things as the Digital Mystikz, for example:

Do you mean DUB reggae - like from the 70's and early 80's? Or current reggae influenced by electronic music (modern style of dub)
Dub Selector 1 (http://www.cduniverse.com/search/xx/music/pid/2098515/a/Dub+Selector.htm) & Dub Selector 2 (http://www.cduniverse.com/search/xx/music/pid/5026170/a/Dub+Selector+2.htm) are a good MODERN dub reggae comps, especially the second one. They have a more electro sound.
I really dig anything Sly & Robbie did in the early 80's for a more old school electro reggae sound, like Black Uhuru "Chill Out." (http://www.cduniverse.com/search/xx/music/pid/5724417/a/Chill+Out.htm) Sly started using electronic drums in the 80's and it gave the sound a real electronic flavor.
But if you just want old 70's dub, there's almost too much of it out there. King Tubby Meets The Rockers Uptown is a classic. It's Tubby dub of an Augustus Pablo album, & King Tubby's the master. Anything he did is a gem. Most 70's Jamaican reggae albums had dubs made of them, sorta like house producers getting their shit remixed. A few years back they rereleased Burning Spear's killer album "Marcus Garvey" coupled with "Garvey's Ghost," (http://www.amazon.com/Burning-Spear-Marcus-Garvey-Garveys/dp/B000003QGU) the dub of it. I can't recommend that highly enough, 2 sick albums on one CD.. Also check out this movie Rockers (http://www.amazon.com/Rockers-25th-Anniversary-Various-Artists/dp/B0008G2IFG/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1/102-7695829-2228112?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1194119255&sr=8-1), it's worth it for the scene with Winston Rodney (B Spear) singing acappella alone. But it also features tons of hot reggae artists from that time, and the lead actor is Leroy Horsemouth Wallace, one of the baddest reggae drummers ever. The plot sucks tho..
If you can't tell, I kinda like reggae..

Yes, and get really mystical.
2 years ago I wasn't into reggae at all, but now it is invading my record collection. So great tracks, so much inspiration, but I'm not into Dancehall, too much violence, loosing the Jah...Jah....Jah.....Jah.....Jah...... Spirit.
If you are looking for some references, I can PM you a list Chris, I digged great record shops in Brussels and Amsterdam and really picked up brilliant tunes.

Oh, mon, yu do overstand reggae!
Leroy is not the best, for sure, but yeah Sly and Robbie did great things.
I'm some kind of tired of the same distorted dubs and am trying to get into more electronic dub produiction. What kind of artists/tracks do you recommand for this 80's electro reggae sound?
I like wicked tracks, out of the influence, I didn't liked the Dub Selectors I&II. Too cheesy or "clean" sound for me.
I am going to the beginning and to the present right now. 60's ska and new elctro dub.
Will definitly post a list of my favorite picks. Maybe tommorow. Let's exchange knowledge!

yeah i'm interested to see your picks..
For the 80's I really only know the Sly & Robbie stuff, it's all sick cuz they're underneath it. They even played on a couple Grace Jones albums that are pretty cool. That stuff is all pretty clean tho, you can't get much dirt after the 70's.
I agree the Dub Selector stuff is pretty clean.. it's a different style to my ears than classic dub
but I disagree about Leroy

"Dem teef mi bike!"
That's more ambient to me, but it's really good!
My picks, from Compilations, LPs, 12" and 7":
Al Campbell - Take A Ride (Sweet but really deep)
Larry Marshall - Run Babylon (Best organ if you forget about Jackie Mittoo)
Karl Bryan - LK Strut (Mystical dub taking you in the heights of reggae music, my favourite)
Vin Gordon - Babylon Rock (Kinda LKJ sound)
Prince Lincoln - True Experience (Brings you self-confidence)
Alton Ellis - Blackish White (From "Arise Black Man" album)
Augustus Pablo - Youth Man (Dub.. Yeah, which one you ask)
Barrington Levi - Under Me Sensi ("Me say no Officer, you must be mad, me only smoke cigarettes and striclty...")
Byron Lee - Rocksteady (Do you hear the Ethiopia call?)
Glenroy Richards - Wicked Can't Run Away (How a classic reggae melody can become unique)
Horace Andy - Money (Original)
Jackie Mittoo - Hot Tamale (Jackie taking it to the top)
Jezzreel - Living In The Ghetto (Liberation...)
Lee Arab - Now (Great reggae funk track)
Lester Sterling - Afrikaan Beat (Reggae takes you to the Mardi Gras)
Love Joys - All I Can Say (Like little birds flying around your ears)
Pablove Black - Push Pull (Before Baby Ruth there was a mexican)
Stranger Cole & Leroy Heptones - The Time Is Now (Organ loop)
Dub Specialist - Running Dub (Insane dub on Studio One Label)
Tanya Stephens - Yuh Nuh Ready Fi Dis Yet (Massive bassline and lyrics)
Tommy McCook, Richard Ace, The Skatalites and Disco Height - Shockers Rock (Swing variations madness)
Wayne Smith - Ain't No Me Without You (Hear video above)

Ken Boothe - Tears From Your Eye (He's taking it very seriously)
The Gatherers - Words (Produced By Lee Scratch, a killer song)
