Could this help recruiting at Illinois, Ron Zook appears to bringing life back to the program?
I think Zook got a bad deal at Florida, hard to fill the shoes of Steve Spurrier.:cussing:

True. That's why Urban Meyer wanted to go to Florida. He knew they had talent there. Turned down Notre Dame. Never liked him.

That's what they get. That contract with NBC has hurt them. And the firing of Ty Willingham has hurt the program. But they will let Charlis Weis stay for 6 more years. If they don't do well next year, he should be fired!!! Just like Ty...And I grew up watching the Irish. Now I can't stand watching them...

If the fools at work listened to me they did great. I said Mich would fall to W and OSU would fall to Ill. Now who's taking the Big 10 title? It will all be decided next Saturday, GO BLUE.

zooka's not the sharpest knife in the drawer but he's passionate which translates into great recruiting. trust me, he'll do some stupid shit that will drive the illini fans crazy, but he'll always put a bunch of future pros on the field which usually translates into 8-9 wins a season.
the buzz right now is about a potential bowl game with the gators which would be awesome, imho...

It is what it is. He didn't have a chance coaching the Irish.
