I got one not too long ago and find that it works great when I run my mixer (Vestax PC17A) through it into my AMP. This creates a problem because I can't have the record out from my mixer go into my PC for recording my sets and have the EFX come out on the mixes.
When I run the mixer's EFX and the EFX in into the appropriate place on my mixer, I find that it distorts with all sorts of feedback and the levels are all outta wack. Does anyone out there have any rec's?
Thanks!

Josh aka houseaddict I run mine thru the processor loop on my mixer (Numark PPD 1975) and it works great. It never distorts, and no gain or loss in volume if I bypass it. I'm guessing you have an effects loop on your mixer with a bypass switch or button??.....JMJ

Wouldn't that only be one channel, so the effects would only be on one side and not the other?

One other thing you might check is the switch on the back panel of your Pioneer. Make sure it's set to -10db. Having it set at +4db could be the source of your distortion and wacky levels. If this proves to be the case, you can correct the problem and run through your mixer's effects loop......JMJ
