I had a nice weekend. I went to Disco Party on Friday. Nice party, good music and good crowd, what else could you ask for.
Saturday I had an interesting experience at Moe's in Brooklyn. I need to start finding new bars to go to in Brooklyn (I may check out some spots in Park Slope).
On Sunday, I saw Laurent Garnier at APT. I had an amazing time. It was worth having two hours of sleep before going to work (went to bed at 5 got up at 7:15).
I increased my bench press. I hate using spotters because they want to do all the work for you (yes, I have trust issues). When you spot, keep hand under the bar and give a little push when the person is having trouble. I didn't use a spotter and the weight didn't come crashing down like my other attempts at that weight.
I feel well rested today.

Just cuz . . . been that way for a few days now.
My weekend was good (great even!)
but then it was over.
I'm just cranky and surly.
I'ma take some time to reflect on the good - try and lighten my mood (or somebody's likely to get the shit slapped outta them! on the real)

Right now I work as an honor guard...honoring vets at their funerals.
I'm actually a military chef.
I just don't like having to work every gotdayum saturady for the past month...

Ahhh...funeral detail..yep as long as you on those funeral detail rotation, you can cancel your plans homegirl.
I remember back when I was E-3 we did 3 month rotation on funeral detail and you used to get the call and had to roll. Freezing cold or blazing hot..
but is was nice when the family invited the honor guard detail over after the funeral...madddd food!!! I used to sneak outside with some of the family and get a hit of the liquor without my SGT knowing111

It's different here...sometimes they (the funeral directors/funeral homes change) the times on you at the last minute; the out-of-touch-civilian in charge of this division is a bitch (I hate her; she's probably NEVER even set foot in a recruiting office, much less boot camp :mad1:); and there IS no staying afterwards (nine times of out 10, we're too fucking tired.) Yeah, I get some days off during the week, but then there's nothing to do around here in Bremerton anyway...I just want my vacation to hurry up and get here.
I'm tired of going to restaurants that allow kids to prepare the food! Girl that made me a sandwich the other day looked like she was 10 years old!:jpshakehead:
