Anyone feeling Anthony Hamilton? He has that old school feel that is missed in the new RnB cats.

I hear that it's pretty good. I have seen the video - cat does not appear to be a youngin. And the video is a poignant reminder that real ghetto life is far from being bling-bling and glamorous.

Still in the CD player! There was a thread on this CD /artist about a month ago here. It is still HOT!! "Float" "Lucille" "Comin From Where I'm From" and my favorite, where he says he ain't shaved or taken a shower in three weeks! That's hurtin.

I've been waiting for him to come out for a long time. He's one of those cats that's had like 3 record deals and his shit never got released. He recorded an entire album almost 10 years ago when I worked at a recording studio and I really grew to love his voice. He's definitely got some Bill Withers in him. Back then he was hooked up with the Trackmasterz, and I always thought they were pushing him to be too mainstream. He did do a lot of writing for them, I believe, as well as singing back-up on a lot of their stuff.
I haven't heard the album yet. What's it like?

He put out a single called "Nobody Else" in 96, then he just dissapeared!
Was hoping to hear more from him. I'll have to check for the album.

I haven't heard the album yet. What's it like? Was that Chung King studios you worked at? I met some cats that worked there at a wild spot on Church St. :D The LP is nice. He was doing mad back up work for cats for the last few years.
