If you mean the UK with the orange sleeve. I never cared for that mix.

Not sure if it's the same one. That one in the link that I have is a various artists record.
The mix on this one starts with the vocal "can you feel it" and repeats several times.

Ah, cool. The old dirty Sanchez, eh? That's cool to know. It just says "import" on the one I have. That sucks he isn't doing stuff anymore. Or is he?
Do you guys dig it, nicky and 87?

But if you play it you run the risk of being chased out of the DJ booth by the If I hear it one more time bunch.

It's different than the original and a bit more edgier. Also doesn't have all the PLUR lyrics.

That's the mix these so called "Follow me" haters have slept on for years. First time heard that shit I went nuts. Darryl James radio mix from 1992 and have been hooked ever since.
The way Roger S tweaks the bassline is pure MADNESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Peace

I can actually do without the part towards the end with the "where we can be" lyrics. Sounds sorta Full Force-ish  When I play it, I try to mix out before that part.

I don't play out. It's a good track, IMO. I'm also on the West coast where people still dig the original. I'm not talking about the original though.

No, come on now. Just wanted to discuss it. Especially with folks that don't particularly care for the original. Actually I think the original is a "just O.K." track. It's more of a nostalgia thing I suppose.

I listen to alot of new music and it no longer appeals to my tastes. There's a reason why I sent you "that track", because I'm tired of hearing the same monotonous, percussive, dry, far from jaw droppin tracks day in and day out. I mean you said it yourself in another thread about cats playing the Shelter to 25 or whatever.
Bottom line is that Roger S mix is still dope in my books, but I come from a different era when "Grit" was the flavor of the day. There are some cats out there doing it. Mr. Ali, in terms of new stuff is number one on my list, but that's because I have an appreciation for "complex" music in regards to the projects coming from Jere and Vick. These guys are bringing it, but only a few DJs on this board play their stuff because the majority are stuck in this Tech House Bubble.
Just my point of view.
