I was wondering if anybody on here works in the criminal field. All kinds.........it doesn't even matter. I am trying to break into it somehow and have applied virtually anywhere I could. I really want to do the adminstrative part instead of the physical part (i.e. correctional officer or a cop). I just don't know where to start! I am really trying hard to get into it.

Try applying for a job as an admin assistant at a security company or with the Chicago Police Department.

I wish you well.

Your first sentence had me confused until I continued reading. I thought you were trying to be a drug dealer.

Do you know if they are mostly on-line or at the actual police stations?

If you're speaking in terms of applying for the job, I'm almost sure you have to go online. I don't think you can walk into a police station and apply for a job.
