View Full Version : The Verizon Wireless "Voyager" | Competitor to the iPhone

Just wanted to know if anyone has picked this up??? It came out last Wednesday and I was told that they have already sold out and the order/wait list is December 15th. I was checking it out and thought it was really cool; especially the full keyboard. Looking to place my order this Friday.

Any opinions on it so far???!!!!! :cool_shades:

P.S. It's much cheaper than the iPhone too. :grinyes:

go to www.howardforums.com under the Verizon/LG section to see what those guys think. Very informative site on a gang load of phones.

IMO there's no phone in the US market that can really compete with the Iphonoe, and the fact that Verizon locks their phones down like chastity belts, the Voyager's potential can't really be tapped unless there's enough people out their with the ability to hack it.

Exactly! It's a piece of junk. A friend of mine bought one and they couldn't activate the piece of crap because the version of the OS on the Mac they had was not compatible for activating THEIR own product. Apple will always be number two. Period.

No he doesnt. We already have a Mess of an OS called Windows CE found on a bumch of Smart phones. What, you want more viruses hitting phones, PCs, and Networks?


Say what you want about the IPHONE, but Apple brought us a millimeter closer to the type of gadgets we see and hear about in Japan. So be thankful that Apple has pushed the envelope (by our pathetic US standards).
