not the greatest quality audio, but noteworthy non the less.....
this was a VERY HUGE record in Chicago. Not only played in the underground, and "other" clubs, but also on the radio mixes.... I don't think there was ever a 12" single of this track, but i do remember it being on the LP.

Thanks in advance.

Hey Tony.
Yes, there was a 12" version of it and I have it here.
It played at 45, not 33.

is it an import?:conf06:
it don't believe it exists.
as far as i know the only time Peut Etre Pas has appeared outside of the album
is on a bootleg that i have with Brand New Heavies, Depeche Mode and one more song, i can't remember what.
he must be thinking of the Los Ninos Del Parque 12"
(EDIT)
just looked on discogs, it appears on quite a few other releases but there is no 12" for it.

Yes it is, it exist.
I got it from the Mamoth Music Mart years ago out in Skokie.
I luck up and came across it. At first glance it kept saying it was the album but once I pulled it out, 12" import.

must be a bootleg.
they don't even list it on the
official website for LD
http://www.liaisonsdangereuses.de/li/hallo.htm
i'm still not convinced that you are not confusing it with the Los Ninos Del Parque 12" which i know plays on 45.

I agree. There never was an official 12 inch for "Peut Etre ...". Scan the pic to show us. I am almost 100% certain you are confusing it with the one pictured above (which is "Los Ninos Del Parque").

is it fair to say that Dangerous Liaisons was one of the first "Industrial groups" ever?

I'm not saying whether or not if Dj Pat has the 12-inch single for "Peut Etre Pas" but there is no listing of that song being on a 12-single on their "offical" website. Have a look in their discograph section:

perhaps you've picked up a bootleg???

I don't know that I would classify them as an "Industrial" group but more of an "EBM" (Electronic Body Music) group. Artists/groups like Throbbing Gristle, SPK, NON, Cabaret Voltaire, etc. fit more that title.

i know. i'm from Chicago.
i was just letting Derkonstrukteur know whats up with that.
but personally, i've used EBM when referring to those groups for many years now though. Throbbing Gristle, Einsturzende Neubauten and bands similar to that i are the ones i call Industrial.
i guess the whole EBM and Industrial mix up is comparable to the whole Acid House thing in England in the late 80's and early 90's. coming from Chicago, you and i both know that shit was not no muhfuggin Acid House.

lol, I'm begining to find that out! ;-)
Perhaps it's because EBM (on occasion) utilizes harsh noizes & rhythms so America sees it as one in the same???

WOW!!! I thought I was the only person who knows about BiGod 20.
:-) "Steelworks" was a great album but what were think thinking when they released "Supercute"??? Complete shite, that was!!!
For me, BiGod 20 & Front 242 are Industrial whilst Nitzer Ebb is EBM. In fact, I believe them to be a "Deutsch Amerikanische Freundschaft" clone. Love the band but they needed their own identity.

LOL, Acid House!!! Nothing about was either "acid" or "house"!!! I remember when Cabaret Voltaire "morphed" themselves into an acid house unit in the late '80's. That was around the time I stopped listening to them!!! Then "Psychic TV" joined in the party soon after!!! It's funny but every now & then, I find myself needing to listen to their "Towards Thee Infinite Beat" album!!! ;-)
