He hadn't been playing up to his ability for a very long time now anyways. Sorry to see him go! :(

Really going to miss Pete Sampras

Look at "Last Emperor." If the fool was tending to the country instead of flapping around on the tennis court like a fairy, the Japanese would not have invaded like they did!

I remember the 1989 French Open. I had my summer job at the old Herman's World Of Sporting Goods on 110 Nassau Street. There was an Asian co-worker who worked in the Tennis department who was really excited over Michael Chang. There was an old TV downstairs in the employee lounge, where tennis fan employees such as him would turn on the TV to watch the Open.

Farewell, Michael Chang. Peace.

Yannick never appealed to me in looks or in style of play - Regardless that Whitley Gilbert had a huge poster of him in her dorm room on A Different World.

I for one am not sorry to see Chang go. He was always my least favorite player. Maybe it stemmed from him beating Stefan Edberg in that French final, and Edberg was my favorite player at the time. I just don't like players who are so angry all the time--same reason I can't stand Hewitt--just relax and have fun out there!!! Regardless, Chang was done like 5 years ago, so his exit now makes no difference.
